TROUBADOUR X SUNSPEL: YOUR COMMUTER FRIENDLY BAG
Good things happen when they come from a good place. So when two brands come together that share the same values, diligence and passion for functional design; you know you’re onto a winner. The London based contemporary travel bag brand, Troubadour and the 160-year-old British Heritage label Sunspel have collaborated on a limited addition set of travel bags. The result? Well, let’s just say all three styles tick the right boxes when it comes to marrying timeless style with practical fashion.

The new technical canvas combines two inspirations, Sunspel enviable heritage of producing beautiful, natural cotton fabrics and the technical performance of the minimalist Troubadour bags. The end product means the fabric has a natural feel, while also being waterproof and hard wearing. There are three styles within the limited edition collection, compromising of; The Pathfinder Briefcase, The Troubadour Tote and the Slipsteam Rucksack with each made up of just 30 pieces each.
You can expect to see all three of the new styles incorporating the brands signature clean lines, whether it’s the more formal briefcase, the relaxed open Tote or the bicycle friendly back pack, that will satisfy your luggage needs. The performance based designs, are all created in a super lightweight waterproof fabric, an increasingly essential component given the current British wet weather. The brushed silver hardware against the smart deep navy fabric and vegetable tanned straps also create a nice contrast. These really do make for the perfect commuter bag, with the smart briefcase (that holds a 16 inch laptop) to the hands free back pack with its moulded panels, that follow the curves of the body for maximum comfort. I can personally testify that having been an owner of a Troubadour Tote for a while, there are few bags that come close to its purity of design and its highly functional qualities.
